A man who abused two young children over a five-year period in Nottinghamshire has been jailed.Simon Stocken, 40, from Dallison Road, Hibaldstow, South Humberside, first assaulted a six-year-old girl in 1989. Police believe a man was stabbed to death in his own home during a burglary.
Tony Fisher, 58, was found dead in his house on Coningswath Road, Carlton, on Saturday afternoon.
Detectives believe the burglary happened between 10.30pm and 11pm on Friday.

Two men wanted after Wollaton phone robbery
Police officers investigating a robbery are appealing for help in identifying these two men.
The officers would like to speak to the men in connection with a robbery on September 5 on Radford Bridge Road. The victim suffered facial injuries and had his phone stolen.
It is thought that the two men live near the Crown Public House, and near to the Charlbury Road or Beechdale Road area.

More than £50,000 worth of illegal tobacco was seized from city shops in one afternoon.
Police and Trading Standards carried out 11 raids on Monday – the majority in Radford Road.

Police search for road rage drivers
Police are searching for van drivers who were involved in a road rage incident on the A57.
The force said the occupants of two vans were involved in two altercations on the Worksop main road at around 1.50pm on November 30.
The first saw one of the drivers get out their van and bring traffic to a halt at the McDonalds roundabout, before verbally abusing the other.

Woman taken to hospital after three-car crash
A woman was taken to hospital after three cars collided on the A614.
The crash happened near the Ollerton roundabout at about 5.37pm on Saturday.
Firefighters from Warsop and Retford attended the incident, and a woman was conveyed to hospital by East Midlands Ambulance Service.
Her injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.The crash caused a "reasonable amount of disruption" to the roads, but the roundabout was re-opened just before 8pm.

The Forest Recreation Ground is the most dangerous park in Nottingham – with more crimes reported there than in all the city's other open spaces combined.
Thefts, assaults and drug use are the main reasons police were called to the park 109 times in 2015.
There were also two reports of rape, a report of child cruelty and six of criminal damage to vehicles at Forest Rec.
