An 83-year-old woman has died after she was involved in a crash on the A617 near Sutton-in-Ashfield.
Two cars collided at around 2.30pm on Marr Road on Sunday, March 6.
The elderly woman, a passenger in a Mercedes car that collided with a Toyota Yaris, died at the Queen's Medical Centre on Thursday, March 10.
Police have now launched an appeal to find the occupants of a car that looked like a Ford Mondeo that they believe may be able to help them with the investigation.

A 14-year-old girl who was missing for just over three days has been found.
Nicole Grant, of Mansfield, contacted police at about 12.40pm yesterday to say she was safe and well.
The teenager was reported missing from her home on Thursday evening.

A crash blocked a road for almost two hours just before the start of rush hour.
The incident on the A6097 was reported at around 3.20pm, near Gunthorpe Road, in between the villages of Lowdham and Gunthorpe.
